Religious Policy

- Hatshepsut like all other kings of late 17th and 18th dynasties accredited her success to Amun

- Seen through "God's wife of Amun"

- use divine birth and coronation scenes as well.

- expedition to punt, goods were given to Amun.

- Building programs dedicated to Amun.

- Other cults were promoted as she renovated numerous temples such as Hathor as Cusae and temples at Pakhet, Hwor, Uni She and Min. This may have been a popular move as common ppl did not have access to the worship of Amun and instead worshipped local and/or household gods such as Hathor.

- Hapusoneb, one of Hat's main advisors, was given role of 'overseer of temples'; the roles main focus was the restablishment of cult worship in the newly renovated temples.

Impact and influence of her time

-Fulfilled her role as king with distinction and effect

-Maintained Ma' at: peace, stability and prosperity in Egypt.

-Ruled for an extended period of time, 22 years.

There is something you can use as an ancient source by Ramesses (Don't know which one) who says that Hatshepsut as female king contradicted ma' at in itself. Interesting thing you could add.
