Hi guys,

I am thinking of taking COMP2907 (adv) but what is the difference between the standard and advanced streams?

I have heard that COMP2007 is one of the hardest computing courses in Australia, would that make COMP2907 impossible?

What are your experiences with the UoS?

Not sure if this helps, but I found notes for the UoS: http://www.edmundtse.com/usyd/ . But the UoS code is different there, so I'm not sure if the material is highly relevant.

Assumed knowledge is math1004. It would be ill advised to attempt without that.

There is also a faculty rule that in first year you should only do 1000 level units.
