The title pretty much says it all. Does anyone know where and how to get it? My best friend, Centrelink wants it.

Also, where do you pay the $500 upfront payment? At the student centre? Cash? Eftpos?

Help is appreciated. Thanks.

You get it in the mail once census date has passed so you have to wait until a few weeks into semester to get one.

If you are going to be first year students starting in 2008 - if you want t pay HECs up front or make part-payments, you just need to indicate this on the forms you fill out during enrloment.

You can always change your mind though - you can make contributions from 2nd semester onwards even if you didn't say you wanted to do so at your initial enrolment

Nothing essentially apart from any books or equipmet you need for your course.

VSU (voluntary stdent unionism) essentially wiped out the requirement to pay fees - you can voluntarily make a payment to the uni's union which can be a good thing to do if you expect good services from them, but you aren't forced to.
