So my teacher really pushed us into choosing artworks as related texts for romanticism. I've never analysed an artwork, but I like the idea of having less textual quotes ect to memorise. I've chosen Salisbury Cathedral from the Meadows by John Constable. I can see some good romantic paradigms in it that I can talk about, but for techniques I feel like I'm kinda babbling and not actually backing up what I'm saying with deep analysis. Anyone have any notes on analysing artworks, or this artwork in particular? Help would be greatly appreciated, I have a multi-modal to present on Tuesday next week and I'm stressing out so much!
