hey there, sorry this is late; but a few things i could draw from the work:
- artist makes a distinct reference to the consumerist world; incorporates icons of materialism, gratification, seduction --> relates back to the object in art ... relates to VANITAS (Vanity of life, the structural elements..
* Outstretched table, with items laid upon = dutch artists paintings were structured in this matter.
* fruits, e.g. oranges, mangoes (zoom in if possible) are SYMBOLS of knowledge in protestant/dutch theory, yet the artists has distorted the fruit to become an icon for sexual desires>> breasts = material gratification
- we humans indulge in perfectionism.
- the numbers imply a guide for the audience, the work is morphed into a biblical reference, the audience is directed and intentionally informed, given judgments and meanings; interpretations are already made; just match the numbers and find meaning
- appropriates from vanitas .: POSTMODERN
- The work thus clearly denotes the Contemporary, material world who indulge in perfectionism, and their gratified senses are pleased by their own objectification ... we become immortal... devoured, lifeless.
- Politically... mmm, well the vastness of the piece links to advertising/propaganda... pressures of power, the work has been issued politically to remind us that society is built on power; ultimate objectification and perfectionism = become the ultimate god--> the question put forward is asked by the leaders of consumerism; the gods of materialism; the filthy rich politicians whom favor power, sex and money.
the work educates us on how the world/society has morphed. Juxtapose the work for instance with a painting by van heem, and the world is portrayed differently; each work evokes morals which the adherents must understand and incorporate into life; the work plays fun on the notion of vanitas works teaching us through symbolism; the work of interpretation for meaning is already done; lost through simplification, thus it is of no use.

wells im tired; i hope that helps... interpretative wise

any more help
