hey guys bit stuck wats an input screen never even heard of it before.. would i be right in saying its just the DB screen with all the field ready for data to be inputted in them??

You just need to design a GUI and state two good design princicples you used. Basically the same as webpages.
You can use either "Large text for older or visually impared" and "Search, next Record, prev record and new record in same place every screen hence consistancy of your design"...

Just draw it up.. its ez

Yes..

A GUI is a Graphical User Interface.

Windows has a GUI, which is what your using right now (assuming your not using a mac, cos then, well, your just stooopid )
