HELP! ive got a rftg essay in class and im stuck with what to say!!
the question is 'how is this retreat represented in one prescribed text and one text of your own choosing?'
i have to do 'the castle' and 'dirt music'.
im kind of stuck on how to incorporate the paradigms within the retreat for the castle.
any help?!?1

for castle, tlk bout economic, social, philosophical paradigms. look at the different economic values of AirLink and the kerrigan's, have a look at the kerrigans attitude towards life and their local values. also hav a look at how the global is presented, and the affect its having on the kerrigans

* negatives seen as +ve
-powerlines- "man's ability to generate electricity"
-aeroplanes
* TV
-shows they watched, "hey hey..." and "prce is right"...austrialian content in media is appreciated.
* "Xerox" photocopier. the 'global' entity that doesnt work.
*Rejection and Embracement=> seen thru steve's 'inventions'

religious
* family life
-unity
-protection
-upheld over the evil of company
*global religion not shown
*sport [aussie] religion shown
*lack of knowledge or global culture
*bonnie dune = nirvana

philosophical
*male-dominant society
-when they receive notice from council, daryll is in the center reading. camera shot focused on him
-sally's clothes, pink rubber gloves
*challenging council = local rejects global
-differences in the attire of the coucil lady and daryll.
*daryll's behaviour, sense of togetherness for the whole community[street]

economic
*barlow group = global company
*expansion of airport
-growth
-symbol of the world becomming a smaller place
*capitalist society
*daryll's thinking..."cant buy what i have", referring to his 'home'.

yes! i've seen this question posted so many times and i'm asking it as well but no one seems to answer!! i really really need some help!! please!!!
