hey...um i was wondering has any1 got any suggestions as to where i can find info on the safety issues associated with the storage of alkanes C1-C8 in view of thier weak dispersion forces!!!!!...it is 4 an assessment on the prelim topic 'energy'.....any help is greatly appreciated...thanks!

Type in google "whatever alkane + MSDS".

Weak dispersion forces? That means it's volatile and so you need it to keep it in a closed system or else the alkanes will evaporate. I think that should be right.
