1. Evaluate the series 16-8+4-2+....+1/16.

2. Find sum of 9 terms of the series 3 + 3^(4/3) + 3^(5/3) +.........

3. If 1 + 2x + 4x^2 + .....=3/4, find the value of x.

4. Find the first 3 terms of a geometric sequence given that the sum of the first four terms is (21 and 2/3) and sum to infinity is 27.

5. Sum of series 12 +8 +(5 and a 1/3) +......
