I tried Students Online during the time I had posted (first time around) for elizabethy, and it had worked then. I have now visited Students Online and it does not work either.
I suspect that they are undertaking routine (or rather, annual) server maintenance, just as the Bored perform maintenance once in a blue moon. I suspect that during the next 24 hours they will be working around the clock to ensure that students will be able to access their marks, by the proposed deadline/ETA.

You'll be able to view your HSC results, don't worry Missi.
I assume that the Board will be ensuring or rather, running stress tests on their servers, ensuring that any
expected (or rather, unexpected!) server loads can be properly managed and systems in-place to counter-act or combat such
large volumes of website requests.
If all else fails, check back every few hours, but don't be losing any sleep because the website doesn't work
right this moment - it's only the morning of the 17th!
