By 'Advanced' do you mean 2 unit?
I have been teaching for more than 20 years, and I've never heard of a 'contingency table'.
(Unless this is actually General Maths - I've never taught that)

This is for university, Commerce level maths, this question is for someone else that just needs working out processes and answer so it's not high school related I guess that's what I know...

Let me foolishly try part of 1st question.

A: 10 + 20 = 30
B: 15 + 5 = 20
C: 30 + 15 = 45
D: 10 + 15 + 30 = 55
E: 20 + 5 + 15 = 40

Grand Total = 95

a) P(E) = 40/95 = 8/19

b) P(B or D) = P(B) + P(D) - P(B&D) = 20/95 + 55/95 - 15/95

c) P(A&E) = 20/95

d) P(B|E) = 5/40 = 1/8

e) P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B) = 30/95 + 20/95 (since A or B are mutually exclusive)

f) P(B & C) = P(impossible event) = 0

g) P(D|C) = 30/45 = 1/3

h) need to do a chi-squared test ?
