$\frac{x-5+6x^{-1}}{1-2x^{-1}}=\frac{(x-5+6x^{-1})\times x}{\left(1-2x^{-1}\right)\times x},x\neq 0$

$=\frac{x^2-5x+6}{x-2}$

$=\frac{(x-2)(x-3)}{x-2}$

$$=x-3,x\neq 2$.$
