Here's the Question- Discuss how the distinctively visual conveys distinctive experiences
Henry Lawson applies several literature techniques to convey distinctive experiences and visual images through his distinctive short stories such as “The Drover’s Wife” and “The Loaded Dog”. These two short stories are written in the 20th century showcasing life without technology and the humorous/serious sides of living in the outback. Techniques such as humour, imagery and colloquial language are the crucial foundation which Lawson employs to bring his writing to life. Through “The Drover’s Wife” we get a perspective of the hardship of life for a women living in the bush whilst in “The Loaded Dog” it gives us a perspective of the light hearted adventures in the bush.
