Hey
I'm doing a speech on the novel Briar Rose.
I am required to choose a theme from the novel and talk about its impact on me, using in depth information on structure, characters and techniques used. I've chosen the theme,
"Truth is never 'tidy' as we may like"
Therefore the idea that the truth affects who we are and an individual will not always be told what they want to hear, but what they need to hear in order for them to become a stronger person.
Can anyone think of just a few dot points to further explain this theme?
Thanks in advance.
