hi guys, i know this has been posted like a million times, but i'd just like ANY suggestions for Henry Lawson related text ...
anything would be appreciated .. i just like to know, what should i be looking for? you know, like what makes up a good related text for Henry Lawson? like is it the same ideas? similar techniques? etc .

excellent text is 'The Man from Snowy River' poem

it has similar themes (describes harshness of bush, struggle to survive etc) BUT also the main character has a positive attitude towards everything that happens in his life and it highlights the mateship thing, whereas in, say, the drover's wife it emphasises the loneliness and despair experienced by the wife. obviously techniques are different cos their different text types
