Hey...Pls Give me advice (1 Viewer)

I sent my application on the Jan this year, now I m still on the waiting list of some Design courses at Tafe...i know is no hope to get in any course in semester1 now!

My Plan is:
Take some short courses at Tafe PLUS in this 3months time
*Adobe illustrator for Desktop Publishing
*3D modelling and rendering..................etc.

I will apply semester2, and so i will start my course in semester2...
I will do Product Design(diploma).:rofl:

You'd be better off going for a basic Certificate 1/2/3 or Statement of Attainment as opposed to TAFE PLUS (if you still can), as you'll find TAFE PLUS is more expensive and it won't neccesarily help you get into a Diploma.

yea...the courses r quite expensive at Tafe PLUS....
If i do the cert1/2/3 then Diploma, how long will i finish all?

cert1+2= maybe 1year
cert3= 1year
diploma= 2years

wow....lol add up r total 4years......damn....
i dun wanna at tafe for 4years.....

I never said anything about a Cert 1 and Cert 2, just pick one in this vocational area that you know you can get into and that you know will finish by the time your Diploma is taking new applicants.

i don't know if u can still apply for it tho~
the certs i mean~ cuz my friend tried and they said appz closed for semester 1~ so yeah..u can still ask i guess...

the certs give you credits or advanced standings in higher levels of the same course. eg. cert 3 is the equivilant of first year diploma in most courses, therefore you can go straight from cert 3 into second year diploma without much (if any) hassle.

you'll probably end up being at tafe for pretty much the same length of time by doing certs compared to doing the diploma straight off.
