our teacher being as slow and monotone as he is has made us be completly behind the other class........ like a whole chapter behind........ so instead of gettin off his ass and working a bot faster hes making us summarise the whole chapter during this hols, as well as do the first section of our media file which is due first week back........

the chapter is the second bit of crime.........isn't this like the most important part of crime, the effectiveness of the law......

any parts i should pay particular attention to........

our teacher barely taught us anything on crime, i spent most of class time reading the text book while he was telling the class some stupid law case that had nothing to do with the topic. gay.

hey that sounds exactly like our teacher........ he's got no idea about the concept of staying on the right topic....... he used to be a barrister so you'd think he'd have a good idea about stuff but ummmmm no

It won't be that bad...just think of it as studying. In fact-you'll probably learn things a lot better going through and doing it yourself than you would in class.
But yeah, that sucks-the teacher really has no excuse for being disorganised liek that. I did Legal Studies last year, and we had plenty of time to go through everything-as well as do a bunch of other crap like watching The Castle and episodes of The Practice.

yeh it does suck but it is also amusing, the fights we have with the people who sit to our right.....grrrr they make me very its just constant but oh well, you can't help bad luck. YOU watched the castle????in legal???um....ok

Not the whole thing...mostly just the court scenes. Our teacher was trying to show us how you can appeal to higher courts and how people use precedents...cos y'know, those concepts are just SO tough to grasp.

I didn't know that The Castle really gave you a good idea of precedents .

In the law assessment that I had on Tuesday, the appellant argued that he had an "implied right" to procedural equality under The Constitution, without specifying any part of it...sound familiar? .

edit - my law lecturer told us to watch The Castle over the Easter breakl because we're starting constitutional law .

actually i really like legal which is why i am disapointed that my teacher sucks....... I have started summarising and i can get into it so its not that bad......
