has anyone been a homeschooled student and then gone to a mainstream school (public or private)?

If so.. could you answer these question in detail for me:

What did it feel like changing from homeschooling to having a public or private school education? Was it challenging? Make friends easy? How did you cope in a new environment with more authoritive figures?
Please give me all the information that comes to mind.

Thankyou!!

That sounds like an exciting topic!
Sorry, I can't help though, seeing that I went to a mainstream school, and then in Year 10, began distance ed. (home student).
I think it'd be a bit difficult finding people to survey, seeing that most of the homeschooled students I personally know, have never been to mainstream schools, and if they have, it was sometime during primary school.

Good Luck, though.

Similar to i love to act, I also think that this might be a difficult topic. My sister went from a mainstream school to home schooling for health reasons, but she's only in Year 4 at the moment. As her health issues improve, she'll probably go back.

Good luck though!
