Hey people, do any of you know how much the Type-R will cost when it comes out, and also is Civic Si available in Australia?

1. Civic Type-R apparently will be in the $40-$50k category when it hits local markets so that it can compete with the WRX, Golf GTi, etc... but it's not official yet.

2. Civic Si isn't available.

Hopefully there will be accessories for the Type R available for the FD Civics. I love the pedals, hope it fits on my car.

The review of the new Civic Type R (UK one) in Wheels mag didn't make it sound too good. Seemed kindof... impractical and not that exciting. However, that Civic sedan Type R looks hot!

too bad the sedan isnt going to be released in australia... the sedian is for jdm only, so if u want to get one you would have to get the hatch which is f*&ken ugly.

As nice as the JDM Type R sedan is, I don't think it's worthwhile importing. It's hot, but not *that* hot.
