I am currently at Macquarie, and want to transfer to become a gp. What do I need?

Transfer? High marks, obviously - and a transfer into Medicine/Surgery.

Do an MBBS. Easier said than done, and its a bloody long path.

Head to our other forum - PagingDr. Loads of us students are there and can help u out more specifically. Check out GAMSAT at Acer for more details regarding the medical school admissions test.

If you haven't done a degree yet / completed one, go to medstudentsonline.

Generally, MBBS 4 years post grad, 1 year as an Intern, then about 4-5 years as a RMO / GP registrar till you're a fully qualified General practitioner. Albeit, GP is probably the easiest pathway in the field of medicine.
