Alright, the title of this thread is ambiguous. Hear me out.
One of my subjects is Legal Studies. The way I 'remember' stuff, is by taking notes, and putting them into a flashcard app.
For Maths, I don't use flashcards. Instead, I apply what I've learnt in class to homework questions. Since they only set a certain chapter once in high school, how can I ensure that I don't forget what's taught in that exercise? Index Laws, for instance, was the first topic of Year 11. I haven't forgotten them because I use them in almost all questions I get given, but what about something like Trig Functions, where you're not going to require them for every question? How would I remember how to calculate the asymptote scale? What about x-scales?
I feel like I need to have some kind of schedule which is delayed by two or so weeks, which reminds me to complete the topic from two weeks ago. If, for instance, I learnt Calculus 2 weeks ago, I'd be doing the chapter review questions now. What do you do to ensure that you don't forget stuff?
