How come ACCG100 and people units doesn't appear on the online unit website? (1 Viewer)

I enrolled in LAW204, LAW208, ECH126 and ACCG100. But I only can see the LAW204 (Contracts) and LAW208 (Law, Lawyers & Society) appearing on the online units.

Can anyone see their other units such as ACCG 100 or 101 appear on their online units website? Or is because the accounting deparment havn't really put the unit outline up on web yet... hmmm

saw in another forum that each unit does it gradually and if they do it, it can take 1 or 2 weeks into the semester to appear.

Rajput Singh, about the exemption for ACCG100 from UWS, I also tried to use Accounting Information for Managers (AIM) to get out of ACCG100. Didn't work, they said something about it already being 'pre-disapproved' so it totally threw my plans as well. They would exempt ACCG106 with AIM but not ACCG100 which I need for an accounting major.

same I got the 106 exempted and im doing an accounting major! So I have to wait until I finish ACCG100 and 101 before i can do the majority of subjects. However, I am doing ACCG 200 this semester and ACCG 301 next semester because of the 106 exemption. Are you doing that as well?

When I try to work out the course plan, I think I'm behind 3 units since they don't except UWS BAS or Accounting unit. I guess I have to do it in summer school.

Ill be about 2 subjects behind as well as the people and planet units. I was talking to the accounting adviser on enrolment day and she told me that BAS may be exempted for one of the people or planet units. Also, I got 106 exempted which allowed me to do ACCG 200 this semester and ACCG 301 next semester. So basically I will be about 2 subjects behind in accounting.

How come u r behind 2 units. Raj can u count urs again? Cuz I don't know y I'm actually behind 3 units if I'm majoring in accounting.

I can't enrol in any 200 level accounting unit major because I need to complete Accg100 & 101 first. I can get Accg106 exempted but that if I don't major in accounting. They specifically wants me to do acct 100.

Heres the course plan... Is it the same with u guys?

This year (my 2nd year):

I will be doing ACST101, BBA102, ACCG100 & 101, LAW204 & 208. So this 2nd year, I will be completing all the 100 level required for accounting/law. I can't do any 200 level accounting units major until 3rd year.

(3rd year):
I still have to do the 200 level. At 200 level, accounting major requires 9 credits points so thats 3 units, and keep in mind I'm third year and I still have to be on time and do 300 level accounting units as well. At 300 level ->12 credit points required, so thats 4 units. 200 level + 300 level = 7 accounting units.

(note: Credit points needed for accounting major is also the same for Finance major as well).

SO: in 3rd year, I will be doing 4 law units + another 4 accounting units. BUT I still need to do 3 more accounting units becuz 200 & 300 level requires me to do 7 accounting units.

This means I have to do my other 2 accounting units in 4th year and 1 units during summer school in order to finish my degree on time.

(4th year):
Note that after 2011, law degree will be changed requiring us to do 8 units in 4th year and 6 units in 5th year.

So I was thinking, I still need to complete 2 accounting units, so might do it in 4 or 5 th year.

The advisor allowed me to be enrol in 200 because its prerequisite is 106. I still think I should be be 1 or 2 200 level subjects behind. I also have to do the people and planet units but the advisor also said that BAS may be exempted for one of the units.
