So what would be the band 6? I want to know what everyone else thought the exam was? Was it easy hard? or just normal.

I thought it was a nice exam, as in I'm glad they didn't experiment on us.
I'd say it was on par with previous years exams.
I'm thinking band 6 will just be the usual 82-83 raw. Anybody else?

Agreed. Band six would be very low 80s...

I reckon it was a fair paper.... I made so many errors anyway ><"

That was a rather simple exam compared to past years,

i loved the shipwrecks option. pumped that booklet front to back.

however yes, that 6 mark equilibrium question was tricky.

i think i said , incorrectly, what the last change was, but oh well.

I'd say at least 80% raw

Test was OK for me. Some tricky questions in core and multiple choice but overall they tested most of the stuff i knew pretty well.

the question with the ammonia in the bread screwed me up. couldn't get the balanced equation, meant i had to guess the molar ratio's for the next parts lol.

Edit: what was the second change in the equilibrium one. 4mins was increased/decrease (forget) temp and the last one was decreased pressure im pretty sure.
made up some random crap for the second change though lol

extended response questions were good, except 4 the equilibrium + 7 marker in art wtf?!
i can't believe i ran out of time on the stupid bread question too!!
fingers crossed the band cutoffs are really low this yr...

I agree, i think it wasent anything Very hard, or extremely easy. Some concepts were very difficult. band 6 cut off probably wont go below 80 :(, most likely around 83 raw

I think one of the changes involved removing the product/reactant (can't remember which one) from the system because there was a straight line down on the concentration.

That's right

carbon monoxide was removed from the environment , causing the sharp drop in CO making the equilibrium shift further to the right

I got a low percentage like 1.77% i think.
That question was good, it guided you through it.

Lol I screwed up....

I ended up with like 1.22 x10^-3 for the ethanol question....

Then some pathetic number for the %age mass of nitrogen...

I lost confidence when I screwed those up and stuffed the rest of my exam.
