How did your first HSC assessments go? (2 Viewers)

So it's time huh? I handed in all mine and was fairly happy with my scores? so how did you guys go? (i haven't had one for engineering yet)

Here's mine for interest:
IPT - 96%
Geography - 95%
Adv. English - 93%
Design and Tech - 91%
General Maths - 88% (I deserved it, got cocky)

My chem speech was okay (18.5/20), Chinese was good (96/100) but i think i bombed out on the rest =\ haven't got most of the assessments back though.

So far i have only done well in, and got above 90% in 2u maths, which of course, doesn't count! However, there is still modern, and my englishes to come, so i'm hoping i can do well in those ones, but i'll have to wait till term 1 next year though.

the only one I got back was maths ext. 1, and I got full marks

but it was piss easy

English: Teachers took their sweet time getting around to marking it so it's not back yet
IT: I got "competent" the first time around...which is 100% I suppose

looks like bye bye for uai of 95+ . does a weighting of 10% of assessment mark with very shit mark affect the uai in getting 95 or even 93 and over?

Pretty consistent i guess, cept for maths. Most were last day all nighters...wish i could do them over and start maybe TWO days before or something....no wait, that means i'd actually have to DO them...again...ok scratch that

the speech/presentation was worth 1/3 of the entire assessment, which also includes a written research report.

i got chem speech out of 60, speech was worth only 20 marks and we only got that back i got 17.5/20

i got maths back as well and i got 80% (general maths)

i am pretty shit at my maths result, from sunday till wed i had the flu, and i came back thurs and they made me do the exam, even with dr's certificate expanding onto friday

The chem class at my school had to do a presentation thing too. It will be an interesting year to say the least. PS how did you guys friends in yr12 go with UAI etc? Girlfriend got 89.2 and other buddy got 98.65. I'm proud of them

3u Maths 20%: 2nd
4u Maths 20%: 1st
SDD zero%: 1st
Chem 15%: 3rd to 5th - not sure, yet.
SOR1 20%: 40th or so.

uh...i'm assuming the %'s are the weightings of the internal assessment mark? because for a split second i though they were your marks for your assessments =P

Here was my situation after the first round of assesments:

Maths 50%
English 60%
Economics 60%

As you can see, I did worse than you. After my trials I was heading for 99.95+. So don't give up.
