How do I fix this... (1 Viewer)

So it's the night before the assignment is due, and all is well... Until I fall ill with a stomach bug and spend half the night retching, continuing into the day. My assignment cannot make it to the school on time because the family is out busy during the day (school, work/errands etc) and I'm alone at home for most of my day. How do I hand my assignment in and get it marked? Do I get a doctor's certificate? If so, I might not be able to get one until tomorrow or maybe even as late as next Monday. Is it still possible this way?

I've look on the Board of Studies website, but I haven't found anything clear on assingment situations

Help would be much appreciated - 15% is worth a lot...

It has to be in hard copy however, not to mention colour printed.. Presentation is a large part of it.

is it possible for a friend to come and get the assignment from you? so you don't lose the marks?

just get a doctor's certificate, they should allow you an extension with that reasoning
