FIRST TIME EMAIL SETUP
Follow these steps to set up Eudora (same for outlook):

Log in using your UniID and password.
Click on the Start button located in the lower left corner of the screen.
Go to Programs, select Eudora and choose Eudora from the H: drive.
A wizard program begins. When you see Welcome to Eudora, click the Next button.
Select Create New Account and then click the Next button.
The personal information screen appears, enter your name and click the Next button.
Enter your Email address and click the Next button. (Your Email address is your UniID followed by @anu.edu.au eg u1234567@anu.edu.au).
Your Login Name should be set to your UniID click the Next button.
Enter anumail.anu.edu.au as the incoming mail server and select IMAP as the type of server. Click the Next button.
Leave the Location prefix blank and click the next button.
Set the outgoing mail server to smtphost.anu.edu.au, click the Next button.
Click the Finish button.
Eudora should then ask for a password, this is the same password that is used to log on to the university computers.

Doesn't that mean everyone knows your UniID?

And doesn't that make it hard to remember? :p
