How Is My Average Higher But Their Report Looks Better? (3 Viewers)

I finally worked up the courage to check my report on studentsonline, and it wasn't that bad imo, I got like 4 As, which I was quite happy with tbh. I'm just really confused because my mate got 5 As and the rest were all Bs, but if you work out the averages of our school reports for the full year, I come out to an 88% and they come out to around an 82%. Could it just be that my marks were heavily clustered around a few subjects, but theirs were more spread out?

yeah it depends on what subjects. the grades are calculated based on ur average for each subject not all of them combined
