Curious to know how many books people read /week or month. Personally its about 1/month. Should we read more to help improve on english or would it be a better use of time just studying techniques/ essay writing etc?

it depends.

sometimes it may take me a very long time to read a book, however simple or difficult it may be, because i'm either too preoccupied with other things or not in the mood to read a plethora of books. i usually despise these phase.

right now i am going crazy on the Beats' writings and going through Howl and On The Road in no time.

brilliance.

lol I haven't read a book since primary school, even prescribed texts, I just read plot summaries or watch the movie. Very bad I know :(

In the summer holidays, I borrowed about 1book/week to improve my english. Read them all and stopped when the holidays ended.

The math books took over. :\

I read at least one a week for uni, and then my own stuff as well. So I'd say 5 or 6 a month
