How many electrons are present in the 2p orbitals of a neutral fluorine atom?

The answer is 3 but why? i thought it was 5?

The answer is 3 but why? i thought it was 5?
Might have misread the question or the answers are wrong. It has 3 degenerate subshells containing 5 electrons in total. 2 in each degenerate p orbital except the last which has an unpaired electron.
