I dont know exactly how many people are on each atar cut off however there aren't just nsw atar people starting combined law. There are also international students, students from other states, possibly mature age students, and I'm not sure about this, but there may also be some form of bonus points that apply (eas, elite sport - but I'm not sure about this). But this is what I don't understand: There were 48 people who got 99.95. So by this logic, there are 384 people who got an ATAR greater than or equal to 99.6. If you guys are saying that there are approx 200 places at usyd, and I know that there are roughly the same amount at UNSW, this makes 400 places altogether. And all the 384 students don't go into Law. So why are the ATAR cut-offs so high???
