i was just wondering how many words can you say in a 5min speech?

i know everyone is different so its interesting to find out

i have the opposite problem i talk too much generally rule of thumb about 1 page in 1.5 spacing for a minute or so, or is that to much? :S

Doesn't really matter how much you say as long as you go within the limits and what you say is all good. I've done speeches which should have gone for three minutes and ended up going like 1.30 cos I was nervous so I spoke super fast...

hehe...i can't help talking fast, even normally but i slow myself down for speaches. Yeah, it dosen't really matter how much you say it's more about how you say it and what you are saying- that's the trick

Depends on how fast you talk did 4 pgs in 6 mins exactly.

It helps if you have the words SLOW DOWN at the top of every palm card
It works for me...
