How many words should my finance notes be? (1 Viewer)

So I'm roughly a third of the way through the finance syllabus however I'm a bit concerned because I have 3110 words at the moment. Should I cut it down or is it fine?

yeah thats too much. i have around 4500 for the whole topic.

For a subject like business studies you wanna make the notes as short as possible. Since it's a lot of memorising, like certain times when we write things we over explain them, but we can just use dot-points, tables or diagrams and efficently memorise it more doing that instead

my finance notes were ~6200 words or 20 word doc pages. strictly information that I deemed important

I think you should cut things down a little

My notes for Finance were divided as follows:

• Role of financial management: approximately 850 words / 3 pages
• Influences on financial management: approximately 2400 words / 7 pages
• Processes of financial management: approximately 2250 words / 8 pages.
• Financial management strategies: approximately 2600 words / 8 pages.

This gives a total of approximately 8100 words worth of notes for the Finance topic. If you are able to write your notes in a more compact, yet concise manner (potentially allowing you to obtain a lower overall word count worth of notes for the Finance topic), definitely do so.
