The curve y^2=16(2-x). The top right part of the parabola is shaded (that is bounded by both the axes.)

How do you find the are between the curve and the x-axis?

Well, plot it (as on WolframAlpha) - and find that what you want is equal to:




That... should get you the right answer. Just need to fudge it and get the limits right when you integrate.
