I can't find Past post about Steps to make Mozilla Firefox Faster.

I remember u modify some things from " about:config "

Can Anyone find an old thread relating to this topic?

hmm fasterfox is quite cool, im on the "Turbo Charged" setting atm lol
"Maximum Performance, exceeds RFC specifications (increases loads to web servers)."

I can't find the thread, but filter for http in about:config and change the max connections/requests settings.

Yes it does...it lets the browser open up more simultaneous connections to the server rather than letting you flood the server. Changing this setting goes against the HTTP spec though.

Ever noticed if you used IE to download files only 2 files will download from the same server at any one time? These settings change the max number of connections the browser will make to the one server in Firefox.

its definetely quicker. thanks. only a slight increase in memory about 10mb i think,
