It annoys me when people with no solid knowledge of anything medical make dumb arsed assumptions.

No Gardasil is not 100% effective in the prevention of cervical cancer because there are several other triggering factors, and yes even if you have Gardasil, you should still have a pap smear every 2 years.

What is your point Patti?

Ms Phillips said four out of five Australian women now have the HPV virus. In 99.7 per cent of cervical cancer cases the patient had the HPV virus.
I would say that those statistics alone are enough to warrant getting the injection.

Well, vaccines are never 100% effective, but if it protects 99% of people and prevents 99% of cervical cancers that may be related to HPV, it was well worth the FREE jabs.
