Yep. our exam supervisors for our trials checked everones pockets before we came in as well.

we did not have our pockets checked today and we had to take our watches off and place it on the desk

We didn't have pocket checks either, but I wasn't alowed to wear the hood on my jacket. My hair kept falling in my face, and had to be tied back halfway through the exam.

Next time I do it before the exam.

we were allowed to take digital watches into the trial, but not stopwatches

mobile phones (at my school) are to be left at the front desk, anyone found with a mobile phone in the exam room (even if it's turned off) will get 0

We just left phones turned off in our bag at the back of the room. Security was pretty relaxed at my school.
