Have you all started going to through past paper exam questions and sample answers for each band?
We do this everytime for a couple of lessons before an exam. As well as the teacher explaining it to me, I realised that the best way to get high marks is just write everything you know about the question as quick as you can, while explaining what you mention. We write out our own answers in exam conditions. After this, the teacher gets each student (it's a small class) to read out their answers. We then look at the sample responses and compare what bands we would have gotten.
I am continually surprised at how short and unexplained the band 6 responses are. How easy do they mark? I seriously think that they give out marks pretty damn easily.
