What does the question mean when it says i have to talk about how the eye works..... does that basically mean just go through the structures and their functions ?

thanks

If I got a question like that, basically I would...
Describe the parts of the eye which help refraction:
- Cornea
- Aqueous/Vitreous Humours
- Lens

Say how the light is focused on the retina, which contains the Rods and Cones, which then cause the opsins to brake apart, causing an electrochemical impulse to form and be sent to the brain via the optic nerve.
The opsin then reforms ready to fire off another signal.

It depends on how many marks the question is as to how much detail you should go into

just remember to include theres a refractive index change accross the two mediums eg. air to liquid in which the light passes thru.

yeah i got this research task to do for communication on the syllabus point "identify the cornea, aqueous humor, lens and vitreous humor as refractive media"... any help out there??

Cheers...
