ok two more questions i not sure, same question, Write a balanced equation for the following reactions, draw the structural formulae and give the name of the product.

1. 2-butene with H2 (with Ni catalyst)

2. ethene with HCL

C4H8(g) + H2(g) -[Ni Catalyst at 150C]-> C4H10(g)
and
C2H4(g) + HCl(g) --> C2H5Cl(g)

Structural formulae should be obvious.

1. Butene + H2 (Ni catalyst) --> Butane
C4H8 + H2 --> C4H10
C-C-C=C [where every C has 2 hydrogens attached except for the first which has three and the third which has one due to the double bond.]

2. Ethene + Hydrochloric Acid --> Chloroethane
C2H4 + HCl --> C2H5Cl
C-C [where first C has three hydrogen bonds and second has two hydrogens + 1 chlorine]
