How is my UAI determined? What happened if I achieve a high mark in HSC but my general performance in assessments was quite average?

I know it seems a bit late to ask question like this, but someone please help me.

then u'd u get the highest mark that ur school got i think, and also the mark that u got in the HSC averaged? something like that

you keep your own exam mark and your assessment rankings will determine/affect your internal mark. and then the average of both the external mark + internal mark = final hsc mark.
