Hey guys! I built The Daily Integral, a site that updates every day with three integrals—Easy, Medium, Hard—so it’s genuinely useful for all experience levels. It’s inspired by daily games like Wordle and Nerdle: quick, habit-forming, and satisfying.



What it is

• Three new integrals daily (E/M/H) to suit beginners through advanced learners

• Optional hints that nudge approach without spoiling it

• After you submit an answer (pass or fail), you unlock the full worked solution and the integrand graph to deepen understanding

• Free, no login—open, try, learn


Why I designed it

I wanted a five-minute routine that builds real intuition—short, focused problems with clear explanations so you can see why a method works (substitution, parts, partial fractions, trig identities, logs, etc.). The difficulty tiers make it approachable for newcomers while still engaging for experienced solvers.

Thank you!!! To answer your question, I’m honestly not too sure what my plans are for after school. Making things like this is just a hobby of mine and something that I really enjoy doing .

Hahahaha thank you for that, I appreciate you taking note of the minimal UI - I spent a while trying to design what I thought would be the best fit for our users. To make this as a whole, it didn’t take all that long - although, the UI design was pretty time consuming. However, it has taken me many months, maybe even years (of experience building such things), to learn how to be able to build things like this in a fast and efficient manner - if that makes sense ?

out of curiosity how does it choose integrals and make solutions? is it picking from a large bank of problems or generating new ones, and are the solutions preset or generated?

We are actually hand crafting these integrals very specifically to be suitable for the different difficulty levels. So, pretty much, every integral we have on our platform is hand made by a group of our team members and then checked over/reviewed multiple times in order to ensure that they are appropriate for the difficulty level that they are being categorised as. Hopefully that makes sense and doesn’t over complicate what I am trying to get across!!!

We were also thinking about having a weekly thing, whereby, every Friday, there is a special super hard special integral (that is ONLY available on that Friday) that will require some really unique and fun problem solving methods that will really push your skills and will help to expand your depth of understand of the topic of integration.

So, keep an eye out for that if you think that that might be something of interest to you

and if you would like to know just out of interest, an integral tells you the area underneath a curve between two points. Like, if you had the integral of x squared between 0 and 1 ->this translates to -> the area underneath the curve y = x squared between the points x = 0 and x = 1.

I have attached a photo that visualises this for you to help you understand this integral example. The red shaded lines are the area that the integral is calculating.

it is also known that integrating something is the opposite to differentiating it. Kind of how like squaring something is the opposite to square rooting something!!!
