Hi! I've been getting average to low marks in English Advance, I'm trying to find a tutoring for year 12, but in the meantime or even without a tutoring, I'd like to know what I can do to improve my skills in English and some advice.
I know that feedback in English is the most important (like Art - I try to relate Art with English because I scored a really high mark (98%) and that their practice/techniques and essay writing are similar) BUT to get feedback you would need a produced and completed work, time, motivation and dedication. The minor improvements are basic knowledge about the author of the prescribed text and some literary/visual techniques in hand. Are there any other advice that I'm missing out on to help me continue Adanced English for the HSC
