the module is concerned with looking at humans and their relationship with the natural world (which includes nature/emotions/relationships etc).

You are supposed to compare the two texts in terms of the above relationship and make reference to the context (and how they have influenced construction etc. e.g. BNW influenced by rise of Nazism/Facism -- evident in the strict control of the World State; the declining social morals/attitudes {after WW1 people let their hair down}; the increasing intrusion of science/technology{development of the assembly line})

Obviously both have a LACK of the natural world (and both composers show the consequences for losing touch), so you must discuss how this comes about e.g. the strict Control of the World state discourages an deep human interactions....drug Soma allows citizens to avoid dealing with strong emotion (also used as a method of control)...

By outlining the consequences (which serve as a warning --> BNW is a satire after all), the important of man's relationship with the environment is highlighted.

Sorry that was a bit of a brain dump (kinda helped me to organise my thoughts actually) :p
