I have one textbook (Jackaranda) that explains induction heating--i seem to understand it, but then i read the Surfing series sheets, and they say that induction heating only works for ferromagnetic (iron containing) pots--and copper and alluminium will stay cold--but make no mention of why
can someone expain this to me? my assumption was that the heating effect came from resistance to an induced current in the metal pot????
thanks
