Info on distance ed. maths (1 Viewer)

Hi, first time poster

Has anyone here ever done 2 Unit by distance education? I'm going to start year 12 2 Unit in term 4 and was looking for some info.

1) Does the distance education course have a recommended textbook (the course structure might follow that textbook)?
1a) If yes - is it a good textbook?

2) If there is no recommended textbook what is a good textbook that would probably need to have worked solutions (no teacher!)?

I did prelim 2 Unit at school and used the Maths In Focus book. This year I'm doing year 12 at (Gosford) TAFE and have to do 2 Unit via OTEN.

1.) No idea, but I can tell yout that no textbook alone is adequate preparation for the HSC exam.
2.) No textbook I know of has worked solutions. Try study guides like Pheonix/Excel.

Thanks for the help, I think I'll just by any Year 11 text book for now (I want to revise it).
