Heyy guyyz.

Help me to solve this question.

Find the area enclosed between the curves y =(x-1)^2 and y=5-x^2

You need to find your x coordinates first. Do that by solving them as simulataneous equations. You should get x=2 and x= -1.

Now you perform and integration with the upper limit as x=2 and lower limit x= -1.
You are integrating the upper area minus the lower area so you put the upper graph before the lower graph in the integral (and minus the lower graph). i.e. you are integrating 5-x^2 - (x-1)^2.

Expand that and integrate it. Hope i didnt confuse u. Good luck.
