THANKS! really appreciate thattoo many variables in what you should expect
instead the max speed is 1mb/8 = 124kb/s
What kind of internet gets to those kind of speeds ??
adsl2+, cable, and satellite. u should try satellite because according to my dad, the dl speed is 1gb/s. but u'll never get that speed because pretty much no host can provide u with that speedWhat kind of internet gets to those kind of speeds ??
dam thats nice speed, mines at 6mbps =(
The whole satellite might be able to handle 1gb/s but satellite is known for its slow speeds and expensive costs, its also kinda different in when your using it instead of seeing the page loading with satellite, you get a pause and then it all comes at once.adsl2+, cable, and satellite. u should try satellite because according to my dad, the dl speed is 1gb/s. but u'll never get that speed because pretty much no host can provide u with that speed
actually yeah its the capital B. so what does that mean? Internet Speed: 1MBpsbut yea, ur dl speed actually depends on the host. if the host got good connection then u can get ur 1mb/s or 124KB/s. if the host got crap connection then u might only get around 50 or even 20kB/s. also ur dl speed will be affected by ur ping to the host. if u tries to dl something from america, u will have a higher ping than dling something from australia and ur highly likely to receive slower dl speed. and wait is ur connection 1Mb/s or 1MB/s? because if its small b then u have to divide by 8 to get ur dl speed while if it is the capital B then u don't have to divide by 8.
thanks bro!To answer the question, 1megabit = 128 kilbytes. So a 5mb song would take 40 seconds to download.
A 700mb video would take take almost 2 hours.
