investigation to demonstrate difference between analogue and digital voltage over time. Can someone explain please!

Very simple one.
Connect a CRO up to a battery in series with a switch. Monitor the voltage over a minute, opening and closing the switch.

Repeat for an AC transformer.

Draw the voltage changes displayed on the CRO
