hi umm ok i had to reboot my computer and i reinstalled itunes - n now when i plug in my ipod mini it wont let me put on songs/update my ipod - n when i put the niumber in it says it belong to another ipod - what do i do????????????

ummmm... you could try getting a number to call about maitenance? or take the little sucker in to where you bought it and ask for advice? Apparently techie support for the delightful iPod is shit, so there might not be much you can do. Luck! I know how it feels to live on music!

it appears that your first problem was buying the ipod..
BUT! you are not alot in that problem as i bought one, but mine completely f^*ked up and i had to get a new one. as the ipod seems to be a peice of crap, this problem would have happened to many other, so google search the problem and 10-1 there will be atleast 1 page of forums and other crap with others posting the same problem and solutions..

my ipod sometimes wont let me upload songs cos i swap it from one computer to another and youre only meant to have it hooked to one library - my solution: usually works...when you plug in the ipod and it brings up the screen with what kind of ipod you have and how much space you have and whatnot, click manually manage songs or library or whatever it is, its on the bottom half of the screen. this usually makes it so that it doesnt want to automatically delete all your songs and so you can add more songs.

Is your iPod completely updated and... all that? And did you put in the latest version of itunes?

My iPod has never given me trouble, and my sister got one of the earliest iPods, so shes had it for a long time - and it never gives her trouble. iPods aren't crap... but you do have to take care of them.

sure ipods can sometimes cause grief but overall they're fairly good. Isn't that the same for anything cars, computers...

What? I don't remember having to put any number in unless you count the time where you use the iPod CD included with your purchase- and that was a long time ago!

I'm not sure what version of iTunes you have, but, if all your music is on your iPod, your best bet is to rip them out of the iPod and then restoring it, then updating it with your songs.

Sounds like a complicated 1/2 an hour.
