i pretty much love the prac (minus databases ) and only just find the written stuff bearable but fairly boring

definitely not looking forward to project work and databases
but everything else hell yeah

A word of advice.. If you know your subject matter well and put in the hard efforts you all will be quite fine. Yes I know database may be frustrating ; however it isn't that bad. All you will really be asked is to create basic schemas, relationships and macros, of which your teacher will show you anyway. Enjoy the Practicals while they last, as there will be constant theory revision once they are all complete.
